Program Development Manager

JOB TITLE: Program Development Manager

DEPARTMENT: Administration

FLSA:  Full-Time; Exempt

DURATION:  Open Until Filled

SALARY RANGE: $45,000 to $50,000 annually

 

POSITION PURPOSE:

The Program Development Manager will be required to pursue relationships with community partners, funding sources, and any entities that may assist the organization in accomplishing its goals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform development functions including prospects database management, relationship prioritization, goal setting and progress tracking, drafting correspondence and communications on behalf of the Director of Administration.

  • Responsible for pursuing grant funding opportunities for all departments and serve as the liaison and/or point of contact for all projects (includes planning, documenting goals, measuring outcomes, and any other tasks needed for implementation)

  • Cultivate relationships with community partners and other organizations that may possess funding opportunities.

  • Assist with grant development for OIC, Inc. as directed by the Director of Administration and CEO.

  • Report all progress on grant proposal submission, reporting requirements funding opportunities, and budgets for grants working closely with the Corporate Controller.

  • Report all staffing needs for grant funding to the HR Director.

  • Other duties as assigned.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study; 3-5 years of program planning/management and community collaboration.  Must have excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, and must be a team player.

    SKILLS/ABILITIES: Must be fully computer literate, experience with Microsoft Office programs such as Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, must be organized and able to prioritize duties and objectives, some experience with budgeting, creativity with a focus on innovation
